Prince Andrew And The Teenage Sex Slave

The start of 2015 has been quite something  in the British press as stories have emerged alleging that Queen Elizabeths second son, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has been involved in the abuse of a teenage ‘Sex Slave.

The Independent reports today that Virginia Roberts claims she was made to have sex with the Duke of York and said she was paid £10,000 by her then-employer Jeffrey Epstein.  She further alleges that Prince Andrew knew she was just 17 years old at the time.

The story is made even more incredible by the fact that Buckingham Palace has issued an unprecedented denial in relation to the new claims, denying that the Duke had “any form of sexual contact or relationship” with the woman who it names as Virginia Roberts.  Buckingham Palace  rarely make any comment on issues seen to be controversial, especially when court proceedings are involved.

Ms Roberts, claims she “was forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor” in London, New York and on a private Caribbean island owned by her then-employer and friend of Prince Andrew Jeffrey Epstein.

The Mirror alleges that  convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein may have taken compromising photos of Prince Andrew with the underage girl he is alleged to have abused.  The mirror claim that:

“Details buried in original court papers filed against pervert Jeffrey Epstein, 61, reveal that he recorded the sordid orgies he threw for VIPs at his luxury homes using cameras hidden in the walls of guest bedrooms.”

“On the Day of his arrest, police found two hidden cameras and photographs of underage girls on a computer in the defendant’s [Epstein] home.”

The Mail reports that Prince Andrew will fly back from his skiing holiday today to tell the Queen he did not have sex with underage girls.  It has also emerged that the Duke of York may have immunity from prosecution for his alleged involvement in the crimes committed by his billionaire sex offender friend Jeffrey Epstein under a deal with the US government.

The secret plea agreement with American prosecutors struck in 2007 protects Epstein, along with any of his ‘co-conspirators’ from a number of criminal charges relating to an alleged international sex trafficking ring set up for the rich and famous.

Ms Roberts has also alleged that she and other underage girls were ‘procured for sexual activities’ by Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of the disgraced newspaper owner Robert Maxwell when she was just 15 and forced into a world of sexual abuse.

Ms Roberts previously abandoned her right to anonymity in 2011 to state that she was abused by Epstein and ‘sexually exploited by Epstein’s adult male peers including royalty’.

The prince, who is fifth in line to the throne, has previously been criticised for his friendship with sex offender Epstein after he was photographed with the tycoon in December 2010, after he was released from prison.  The prince has also visited Epstein at his Florida home over the years.

Prince Andrew later had to apologise for his friendship and stepped down as the UK special representative for trade and investment.

It seems to me that once again Prince Andrew has caused major embarrassment to the Queen and the crown.  His friendships with the likes of Epstein and Maxwell show a lamentable lack of judgement on his part, especially given the scandal’s he has been embroiled in previously, who remembers the topless photographs and toe sucking incidents involving his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.  Given the scandal surrounding his alleged involvement with Koo Stark, allegations of involvement with ex Playboy model Denise Martell and many other rumours of affairs surely you could expect that someone with such a high public profile would choose his friends more carefully.

It would also seem reasonable to ask where Andrews ‘Royal Protection’ officers were whilst all this was going on.  These Police Officers are supposed to protect the Prince physically, but one has to question whether these officers have stood idly by whilst their royal charge committed potentially criminal acts?

It would seem there are plenty of questions yet to be answered.

    Hi Joy,
yes a dreadfully sad story and deeply disturbing. Further proof that unfortunately wealth and privilege does not necessarily imbue people with morality. It seems that all too often rank and privilege leads some to believe that they can do whatever they want secure in the belief that their power leaves them in an untouchable position.

This is really a sad story! Human trafficking, sexual abuse is a HUGE problem and its really sad that someone in such a high position like Prince Andrew would be involved in it! He should be using his power to fight against it!
