Hey, check out some of my photographs of artists from some of the minor stages on Wednesday and Thursday of this years festival. As any Glastonbury, or indeed any festival regular knows some of the greatest joys at a music festival is the treasures you discover well away from the main stages.
At any music festival you will always discover new artists to love. This is especially true of big festivals like Glastonbury where there are an estimated 100 stages and it would take months to see them all. This year I spent a lot of time in the Field of Avalon and in Green Fields. These areas were busy on Wednesday and Thursday before the main stages opened but over the weekend they were a real oasis of calm away from the huge crowds around the main stages.
