AllUsOnDrugs – UK Headline tour

If you have been around this blog for a while you will know that we here at Sound Of Summer are pretty keen on Yorkshire band AllUsOnDrugs.

The boys are a tour de force live so we are excited to learn that they will be coming out on a co-headlining tour in February.  AllUsOnDrugs are one of those bands that are almost impossible to categorise.  They have even been labelled as a pop-grunge-psyche-shoegaze-rock quintet.

AllUsOnDrugs tour is part of  an extensive run of UK dates as part of the ScuzzTV presents UK Throwdown.

The tour is a 16-date, revolving-headline run of shows that also features Press To Meco and Max Raptor along for the adventure.

As you read this, Allusondrugs are finishing up a run of UK shows with We Are The Ocean and Tall Ships which – aside from a couple of “local” headline shows in Leeds and Sheffield – marks the end of a very busy year for the band.

Allusondrugs kicked off 2015 supporting Enter Shikari on their Mindsweep Tour dates, before heading into an extensive UK headline jaunt of their own. A smattering of festivals, the release of a video for Sunset Yellow, the Magic College / Her Crown double-A-side 7” on Too Pure, a limited CD EP release, and a co-headline tour with fellow Yorkshiremen Brawlers all helped to keep the band occupied throughout the year.

I caught up with the boys back in June at Download Festival to chat about their influences, approaches to music and their live shows.  Check out that piece here.

You really should get out and see these boys before they go stratospheric.  You won’t regret it.

AllUsOnDrugs is on the internet here.  They are on Facebook and Twitter too.

Sing out here if you want to be heard!
