So here we go on another blogging journey through the WordPress blogging courses.
Today’s task is to set three concrete goals for my blog.
I set my blog up initially to keep a record of my travels around the UK music festival scene over the course of this past summer. To be honest I have been pretty pleased with how my blog has developed over the past few months but something strange happened. I have found that I have really enjoyed my blogging, I have enjoyed the comments others have made on my blog and I have enjoyed visiting other peoples blogs and interacting with them. I was surprised to find that getting a lot of hits and comments on a post is a real buzz and a lot of fun. It is also nice to see that I have begun to build a network and following.
My goals are therefore:
- To post at least once a day between now and the end of December 2014. These posts are to be music related as the festival season has now passed but I do want my blog to remain focussed on music.
- To visit and comment on at least three NEW blogs a day between now and the end of December. This will hopefully continue to extend my network.
- To increase the number of followers on my blog to at least 1k and to average 150 hits on my site a day by the end of April 2015.
So there you have it, three time bound goals that I hope will prove achievable. Please feel free to leave a comment.
